Apple Event 2019: Event which I can completely skip
So as usual as every year we have seen a variety of products launching in the Apple special event. Right from Steve jobs theater, thought I'm not physically present inside the event but I was watching it on YouTube probably 3 miles away from the theater from my home I could feel a Déjà vu moment right from the beginning. I would rather describe my own opinion and not generalize it among the Apple community. One opinion I got out is Apple is trying to reduce their prices and get more customer purchase as we have seen a less numbers in sales last year.
May be I can call this is a bit of interesting thing which caught my eye of having a gaming platform or service across all devices and I am not sure what all products of Apple are compatible with the popular game controllers. I see Microsoft Xbox and PS4 controller support to Apple iPad and Apple TV which was confirmed early this year. It would be great if the support for controller will be extended to iPhones and macs. The best part in this whole announcement of Apple Arcade was it costs $4.99 a month for a family subscription. It is available starting on September 19.
Yeah there is this TV streaming which could have been a biggest streaming platform on the mobile but just with the lack of good content it is being ignored by many viewers. Also I do not blame Apple for this. It is just too many streaming services coming up in recent times which is very much ruining the viewers interests. First Show will be available from November 1 and every month there will be new shoes getting added. At launch it will be available more than 100 countries. It is also $4.99 a month for a Family Subscription. Additional special is starting from today if you buy any of the apple product you will be given 1 year of free Apple TV+

Apple iPad 2019 - 7th generation: $329+ (can Skip)
It is now much faster, more big and now supports keyboard which the previous iPad also did but there is something new in this year's model. It's the generation, I'm just kidding. I like iPad but I wish they are only released when there are big changes to them but not as a part of tradition to launch new products every year just build up the model number. I see no major changes from the iPad 6th generation in terms of OS, design expect from a difference in screen and official note about support of keyboards. It doesn't motivate me to buy the new iPad. I can rather wait and get it for Thanksgiving when the price gets lower like last year. This is starting to be available from today to order but will ship from September 30. It is priced at $329 and for education it is only $299.
Apple Watch Series 5: $399+ (can skip)
Always on display. Remember this term as I see only this as a major difference. I was excited only for this product this year when I started seeing rumours about the new products as the rumours speculated there will be a sleep tracking feature which completes the Apple watch. As usual I was left with a disappointment of not getting which is a good ask from the lovers. Also to note, it was officially confirmed that apple watch series 3 would be priced from $199 which is the best option if someone is looking for a strict apple smart watch. I called it strict because there are plenty of options which can do same but at a lower price and much more than apple watch series 3 for $200. GPS models start $399 and cellular models starting at $499. They are ready to order from today and available in stores from Sep 20.
Apple iPhone 11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro max: $699+ (Skip for sure)
Woah, this is the part majority of the Apple lovers are currently focusing and might be watching the event for. They have made great changes in iPhone lineup. I would mention them as points because it is easy for me:
- Apple renamed iPhones. The cheapest one is named iPhone 11 rather than calling it a iPhone 11R.
- Nothing has changed expect the setup of cameras (though an ultra wide camera is added)
- Good this is price remains same for iPhone 11 Pro aka iPhone 11 in previous year naming
- I would rather recommend iPhone XR which is now priced at $599 (may be I wont recommend any iPhone at all :p)
You can preorder iPhones starting this Friday 5 AM PDT, even apple started feeling pity for its customers and letting them sleep few more hours. They will start shipping Sep 20.
