Google Event 2019 updates: Best ending for the year

Event started with playing a trailer of products that are going to launch. They have showed up the pixel 4 phone, Nest mini device, Stadia controller, pixelbook Go, pixelbuds 2. This event was completely going to a different way. None of the products were explained more than 5 minutes. One good takeaway from the event is Google is investing $150 million in the research of renewable energy. This is projected to raise $1.5 billion which generates power equivalent to support all the manufactures of Made by Google products.

Google Stadia: Available November 19th


A gaming platform where you can play games on any device and this has been in talks to get launched very soon by Google. Pixel will be the first device to support Stadia. It was told by Ivy Ross - head of Google's Desgin team saying this would be the first cloud based gaming controller. The controller fits all the hands

Google Pixelbuds 2: Available in Spring 2020, $179

This year, Pixelbuds 2 is redesigned to cut down complete wires and becomes first true wireless earbuds from Google. They just mold into your  ear and doesn't even look like you wear. In exterior they work in a football area ground range and internal they will be working up to 3 rooms range. It gives about 5 hours of runtime and 24 hours of battery pack in the wireless charging case.

Google Pixelbook Go: Preorder now, $649


Google wanted to create thin and light laptop which lasts for one day. It also has Grippable design.

Google Nest devices:

Google stated they are launching an updated "Works with Google Assistant" program. Rishi Chandra from Google explained new privacy and security reviews 3rd party has to go through. New devices launched are

Design remained same but there are minor changes. There is a new color and a small inclusion of wall mount to make it easy to be docked on the wall. 

Nest Aware: $6/$12 per month 

A monthly plan no matter how many cameras you have in your home. Smoke alarms and contacting emergency with in the app. 

Nest WiFi: Starting at $269


New design now requires only one devices and covers up to 85% of the house. It also includes a Google assistant powered speaker which works exactly as Nest mini

Google Pixel 4: Ships by Oct 21, starting at $799

Sabrina Collins from Google has started off explaining about new pixel 4. This comes with project Soli. Pixel 4 is the first phone with radar. It is having the fastest and secured face lock. Radar helps in interacting with the phone like controlling the phone, making a ringer silent, lowering the alarm volume when you are reaching out to phone etc., A new Sound Recorder which automatically transcribes your speech to exact text and then allows you to search exact word pronounced at a part of audio clip.

Design Technology: 

It was told by the Google's head of design team - Ivy Ross that all the Nest products developed in 2019 are made out of recycled plastic. Chromecast and Stadia controllers are made out complete recycled plastic too.
