Microsoft Surface Event 2019: I wish to skip a year and go to Holidays 2020 for Duo!
Oct 2, 2019: Woah!! With a great excitement and interest the event has begun very early in the morning for the one's who live in West Coast. Satya Nadella, CEO of the company started off the event by sharing a brief experience of his first computer and started the event of launching hardware devices.Microsoft Surface Laptop 3: (New design, finish and New Processor?)
This is the 3rd successor of fairly successful laptop. I could see for the quality of performance which Surface Laptop 2 delivers and the style it got it is a great deal at $899+ until now. Now with the Aluminum finish it looks much more better and classy. Key features it got are
- Quad core 10th Gen Intel Core (i5/i7)
- 2x faster than Surface Laptop 2 / 3x faster than MacBook Air
- a 15" inch model is also available (but its expensive though)
- Fast charging - 80% battery in under an hour

Microsoft Surface Pro 7: (Just USB-C included and New Processor?)
This is the next version of their mostly selling 2 in 1 device. I have personally seen at many offices where people carry surface pro because of its flexibility. In the presentation of this same device, Microsoft has confirmed that pen support for excel has been provided and Your phone app will soon has the ability to manage your phone calls from the laptop when you are connected. No Technical improvements or specs have been released in the event. A notable mention of Surface Mics which help in better voice to text conversion.

Microsoft Surface Earbuds: (Expensive but great features!)
This is something unexpected to come from Microsoft. Usually Microsoft likes to stay very far from the industry trends. Now that each audio/phone manufacturing company is trying to launch their own wireless earbuds, Microsoft also entered the race with these earbuds. The initial impressions are many good features have been built into this. I see there is an office integration by which we can control powerpoint slides, play music and answer calls as usual but can also have these earbuds use for translation of powerpoint presentation slides. Battery life projected as 24 hour with the charging case but the wireless charging capability of the charging case is not given. Key features are:
- Directional dual mic array
- Touch sensors on earbuds - Swipe + Tap
- No screen required for Spotify - open, play, pause, volume control etc.,
- Live captioning with earbuds
- Live Language Translation

Microsoft Surface Pro X: (competitor for iPad Pro without an App Store?)
Even this was something not expected. A mobile architecture which runs a fully functioning PC, it got 4K video recording, fast charging, removable hard drive, USB-C ports and edge to edge screen while having all the Windows capabilities. Key features are:
- 5.3mm thinnest device
- 1.68 pounds light
- Pen charges magnetically when kept in the slot of hard case
- AI engine to do mischievous things of changing your eye contact from screen to camera etc.,

Microsoft Surface Neo: (Trying to bring back Windows Phone to life?)
After about 2-3 minutes of hype given, a teaser of a device which Microsoft is expecting to release sometime next Holidays was shown. It looks like it is a dual screen phablet kind of device with LTE, touch and pen compatibility provided. This was something which was half done by ZTE Axon m.- 360 degree hinge
- 9" inch 2 screens
- Thinnest LCD in the world
- Pen charges magnetically
- Windows 10x on this device for dual screen devices
- Use both screens for same app or launch different apps
- Key board attaches magnetically and transforms to a real keyboard of a device

Microsoft Surface Duo: (This is amazing!)
After thanking everyone the event again continued stating Microsoft is not done yet, revealing a teaser of Microsoft Surface Duo, a Phone device similar to Neo which was shown earlier. But the teaser showcased integration of Google Play Store in it. This will combine the experience of Android and Windows to get the maximum productivity.
